Describe your ideal baby carrier

As a new mother (or 'mom to be'!), you've no doubt been innudated with advice---from friends, from family, perhaps total strangers in a store--as to what you should look for in a baby carrier for your baby.  Here's Your chance, in your own words and pictures, to tell us what You want in your ideal carrier.  Leave no detail unturned, and be both as practical--and as creative--as you'd like!
